An estimated 40,000 visitors indulge their senses in the Scottsdale Culinary Festival, held every year in the Valley of the Sun. As the longest running festival of its kind, this event appeals to people from all walks of life with its Great Arizona Picnic and the Southwest Festival of Beers.

If you want to climb A Mountain in Tempe, then set your feet on the path though Hayden Butte Preserve. Make sure you bring comfortable shoes and a water bottle for your daytime hike overlooking Tempe Town Lake and downtown Tempe. Wander past the carved and painted “A” for ASU, and keep an eye out for native petroglyphs left by the Hohokam.
